Hi, guys! I've decided I want to change my boring, lilac bedroom wall. So! I'm making paper butterflies to cover it. And, if you want me to make one dedicated to you, or a family member, or someone you care about, let me know. I'll be more than happy to do it! And, if you want to make your own, here's how I made mine. Things you'll need: Construction Paper Sharpie/Pencil Scissors Glue Step 1: Pick three colors. Any colors you want. I went with green for the body, purple for the wing base, and pink for the decorations on the wings, but you can mix it up! Step 2: Draw and then cut out the body. This is just a size reference for you. You can make it as large as you want, though! Step 3: Draw and cut out one wing, then place it back on the paper, trace it, and cut out the other wing. That way, they have a somewhat similar form. Step 4: Add your decorations. I decided to mutilate a piece of pink construction paper to make these triangles and I have to say, it looks nice! Step 5: Glue the body to the middle of the wings, to hold them together. If you want, you can also cut out a strip of paper that's the same color as the wings, or the body, and glue it onto the back, for extra support. Step 6: Add your message and/or who it's dedicated to, and you have yourself a beautiful paper butterfly! If you make any butterflies, post them here as well~
